The UniversitÚ Catholique de l'Ouest (l'UCO)
The UniversitÚ Catholique de l'Ouest (also known as "la Catho" or l'UCO) is a private, catholic university located in the heart of Angers. There are two programs Truman students may choose from: Intensive French at the CIDEF (Center International d'Etudes Franšaises), a program specifically designed for International students which allows you to enroll at any level in French from true beginners to very advanced students, and the Advanced French Language program for advanced language students which combines classes for International students and integrated classes with French students. This program is often referred to as the ERASMUS program, the name of a European Community exchange program.
